The organizing committee is excited to invite you to take part in SIGMETRICS/Performance 2009. SIGMETRICS is the flagship conference of the ACM special interest group for the computer systems performance evaluation community and Performance is the flagship conference of the IFIP working group on performance modeling and analysis. Every 3 years, the two conferences join, and this is the 11th joint conference.
The joint ACM SIGMETRICS / Performance 2009 conference
solicits
papers on the development and application of state-of-the-art, broadly applicable analytic, simulation, and measurement-based performance evaluation techniques. Performance is broadly construed, including considerations of speed and scalability as well as reliability, availability, and manageability of systems. We particularly encourage submissions including real world empirical studies and focusing on implementation and experimental issues.
